Hello Washington University!
What can I say? Washington University is my dream school! With a ranking of number 12 in the country in the "Best Universities" article by U.S. News and World Report, and a picture perfect campus, WashU looks to be the perfect school for me. Ever since I was a little boy, my parents would take me to WashU to see the beautiful campus that I called "The Castle." Brookings Hall left a lasting image in my mind of the IDEAL college. My first formal visit to your school was last summer. For the first time, WashU was more then the school on top of the hill, it was within reach. Although our tour guide nearly had us sprint through the quad to get to all the sites, I understood the prestige and value WashU had to offer. The way I looked at schools changed after my visit. Suddenly, I had a higher demand out of the other schools I looked at. One key aspect of WashU that I had not considered was its flexibility with Majors and Minors. I want to major in economics or political science but minor in music. Your school said that they could not only meet those needs, but if I changed my mind, could easily help in my path through college.
