American University

There is a whole lot to like about American.  First of all- LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION.  You're in D.C. and 5 minutes away from the White House.  That's awesome!  Second, you have friendly students!  When my family and I went to American, we were quickly greeted.  We must have looked completely lost because the guy told us that if we wanted to get to admissions, we would have to be on the other side of the street to catch the other bus.  He actually seemed interested in me and my interest in American!  He sang high praises of the political science program.  His attitude made me feel at home while on campus.  Now anyone may think, "Well, you found the one nice guy on campus."  However, on three separate occasions students came up to us and complimented the school.  Another interesting habit was that every student thanked the bus driver.  Everyone seemed so happy and polite.  Alright, I have stepped off my soapbox.  AU's political activity appealed to me almost as much as the friendly students.  Personally, I have volunteered for one of our congressional campaigns.  Whenever someone at Parkway Central High School wants to know about the current political issues, I am the "go-to" guy.  Politics plays a big role in my life, making American a naturally appealing University.
